Intensive driving courses sometimes called one week crash driving courses are the fastest way possible to learn to drive take the DSA official driving test, pass and gain a full UK car driving licence all in as short a period as two weeks

Popular with learners of all ages intensive driving courses make it possible to learn with a short course what could take up to 14 months to learn taking a 1 hour lesson every week with a driving instructor and the great thing is because you are doing it everyday the information sticks!

We have a range of intensive driving courses that help you to pass quickly. We have a great deal of experience with these courses and find them to be very successful, cost effective and a great way to learn to drive.

We don´t have a specific ‘off-the-shelf´ intensive driving course, because we believe each learner´s needs are different – you may need to learn to drive for a job or before you go to university or you may decide that you dont want to take months learning to drive, if so an intensive course could be for you

An intensive course of driving lessons can be anything from a week to a couple of months – as intensive as you wish.

Our priority is that you´re safe and confident on the road – we like to create an intensive driving course of tuition that will get you through your driving test and beyond. If you need to learn within a certain timeframe we will build you a suitable course and find an instructor to suit.

Simply contact us and the first thing we will do will be to arrange to carry out a driving assessment to get an idea of your current ability we will then talk you through the various options available.

Our Courses

The 10 Hour Course

This course is ideal for someone who may have just failed a driving test.

We will check your driving standard and will work with you to improve your driving skills. Common mistakes that often fail test candidates can be identified and corrected quite easily.

The failed test candidate course is for 10 hours and is arranged to suit you and fit around your needs.

There is no set time span, but it is usually best taken in the week before a retest.

Please book early as this course is always oversubscribed.

This course can be taken in a manual or automatic car.

The 20 Hour Course

A course suitable for those with recent experience with an instructor . . .

This course is suitable for those who have already had at least 15 hours of recent tuition and who want to complete their training in a shorter time period

The 20 hour course will suit those students who have good car control and have been happy driving in medium traffic.

Manoeuvres would have been practised to a fair standard. Traffic signs, lights and road markings will be understood on what they mean to the driver. Forward planning on who has priority with independent decision making improving

The 20 hour course can be taken over a week or more, its totally up to you.

The 30 Hour Course

The 30 hour intensive driving course is ideal for a student with around 10-15 hours of tuition with a driving instructor.

30 hour students will normally be able to control the car before commencing this driving course, being able to move off at junctions with confidence.

Roundabouts are now becoming easier, and driving would be in light traffic and starting with heavier traffic. The driving test manoeuvers would have been started and being practiced. Students should now have an understanding of most traffic signs and road markings and be able to identify them

The course includes:

29 hours of top quality 'one to one' driving lessons.

The use of the tuition vehicle for the DSA test

This course is outstanding value

The 40 Hour Course

This course is for people at the start of their driving career.

They may have already started learning and have around 5 hours practice with a driving instructor or family member driving in a car park practicing steering, clutch control when moving away, braking and stopping. Some gear changing may also have been tried on a road with little traffic.

We do not suggest doing longer than 4 hours driving a day as you will become over tired..

This is a full driving course suitable for a complete beginner, and includes all the training needed by an average learner to be fully prepared for the DSA driving test

The course includes:

39 hours of top quality 'one to one' driving lessons.

The use of the tuition vehicle for the DSA test

Why do intensive driving courses work?

Learning to drive taking only 1 or 2 hours of tuition a week will never be enough practice time for most learners to make real progress.On average students learning by hourly tuition will take up to 14 months to achieve the driving test standard.

Will an intensive course be right for me?

For most people the answer is yes.

At the end of your first day because you will be taking a large amount of information in you will be tired, but as each day unfolds you will find that you will feel more lively and everything becomes easier. Remember that intensive driving lessons are proven to be the fastest way for learners of all ages when learning to drive and are now common place in the UK. Police drivers, the Armed Forces,, Bus drivers and even Driving Examiners will have been trained in this way.

Which course should I take?

Learning with an intensive driving course means that your training will be over a few days or a couple of weeks and not many months.

Everything you learn will stay fresh in your mind encouraging a new confidence in your driving to grow and because your the driving test is taken with your course it is possible for you to learn to drive and pass the UK practical driving test, in 7 days or less. It's no wonder more learners are turning to intensive driving courses when learning to drive than ever before.

Driving tests are an important part of your intensive course. Providing you have passed your theory test when you book your course the driving test can be arranged for the final hour.

Cost Effectiveness on average, an hourly lesson would normally cost £20 - £28. You would have 1 or 2 hours a week.

The DSA recommends that you have approximately 40 hours of driving experience before sitting your test. Thus giving a cost or around £800 plus additional test fees giving you a total cost or around £870 possibly even more.

As well as the time it usually takes around 20 - 40 weeks (5 - 10 months).
